ST. LOUIS, MO – Gateway Football Group (GFG) is proud to announce that club president Christine Miller has been officially appointed as an Ambassador for Her Game Too, the leading international campaign dedicated to tackling sexism and championing gender equality in sport.
As GFG works to build a fan-owned, community-driven soccer club in St. Louis, this collaboration marks a key milestone in our club’s young history by ensuring that inclusivity and the safety of female supporters are woven into the club’s DNA from day one.
This partnership reinforces both organizations' shared mission to eradicate the conscious and unconscious biases that women face in the football industry. Through education, visibility, and direct community engagement, GFG and Her Game Too are working to ensure that the future of soccer in St. Louis is equitable for all.
In addition, Miller’s role a Ambassador will serve as a bridge between the St. Louis soccer community and the global Her Game Too movement. Miller will focus on three key elements for not just GFG, but the St. Louis soccer community:
- Creating Safe Spaces: Ensuring matchday environments are welcoming and free from harassment for women and girls.
- Advocacy & Reporting: Establishing clear pathways for fans to report sexist abuse and fostering a culture of zero tolerance.
- Community Building: Developing initiatives that encourage female participation in soccer, both in the stands and in leadership roles.
