TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP
Effective Date: 11/30/2025
Club Name: Gateway Football Group (club name to be announced March 2026) ("The Club")
League: Midwest Premier League (MWPL)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, holding, or using a Lifetime Membership ("Membership") to Gateway Football Group, you ("The Member") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Club’s Code of Conduct, and any regulations set forth by the Midwest Premier League ("League").
2. Definition of "Lifetime"
The term "Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the Club, not the life of the Member.
- Duration: The Membership remains valid for as long as the Club continues to exist as a solvent, operational business entity fielding a soccer team.
- Dissolution: In the event the Club dissolves, declares bankruptcy, ceases operations, or permanently suspends competitive play, this Membership shall terminate immediately. The Member acknowledges that in such an event, no portion of the Membership fee will be refunded.
- League Affiliation: While the Club currently competes in the Midwest Premier League, the Club reserves the right to change leagues, divisions, or associations. Such changes do not constitute a breach of this agreement, provided the Club continues to play competitive soccer.
3. Membership Benefits
The Member is entitled to the following benefits (collectively, "Privileges"):
- Admission: General Admission to all regular-season home matches played by the Club.
- Exclusions: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Privileges do not include admission to:
- Post-season/Playoff matches.
- U.S. Open Cup matches or other national tournament fixtures.
- Friendly/Exhibition matches hosted by third parties.
- Ancillary Benefits: The Club may, at its discretion, offer additional perks (e.g., merchandise discounts, voting rights on jersey designs). These ancillary benefits are subject to change or revocation at any time without notice and are not guaranteed parts of the Lifetime contract.
4. Non-Transferability and Resale
- Personal Use: The Membership is issued to the individual named at the time of purchase. It is non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, bequeathed, or transferred to another party without the express written consent of the Club.
- Identification: The Club reserves the right to request photo identification at the gate to verify ownership of the Membership credential.
5. Code of Conduct and Revocation
The Club prides itself on a safe, inclusive, and spirited atmosphere. The Member agrees to abide by the Fan Code of Conduct. The Club reserves the right to revoke the Membership permanently and without refund if the Member:
- Engages in violence, fighting, or threatening behavior.
- Uses hate speech or discriminatory language regarding race, gender, orientation, or religion.
- Throws objects onto the field of play or enters the field of play (Pitch Invasion).
- Violates the rules and regulations of the venue or the Midwest Premier League.
6. Assumption of Risk and Liability
- Risk of Injury: The Member voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the sport of soccer, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the actual playing of the match, including but not limited to injuries from balls, players, or other objects entering the spectator area.
- Release of Liability: The Member agrees to release, hold harmless, and indemnify the Club, the Midwest Premier League, venue owners, and their respective agents, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Member’s attendance at events.
7. Media Release
The Member grants the Club and the League the irrevocable permission to use the Member’s image, voice, or likeness in any live or recorded video display, broadcast, or other transmission or reproduction of the event for marketing, promotional, or news purposes without compensation.
8. Interruptions and Schedule Changes
- Force Majeure: The Club is not liable for failure to deliver benefits due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, league suspensions, or weather events.
- Scheduling: Match dates, kickoff times, and opponents are subject to change. No refunds or partial credits will be issued for rescheduled or cancelled matches.
9. Governing Law and Severability
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
10. Amendments
The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions regarding operational procedures (e.g., entry gates, digital ticketing methods) upon notice to the Member. However, the core guarantee of admission for the life of the Club cannot be revoked except for cause (misconduct) as outlined in Section 5.
